PRIME MINISTER Mohammad Nawaz Sharif announced recently the launch of a new phase of development in Sindh and vowed to bring modern basic facilities for its neglected rural areas. While addressing a large number of people, he said the federal government would spend Rs1.lbn for the development of these areas and promised to build a 500-bed hospitalin Thatta and provide electricity and natural gas for Sajjawal.
Since Mr Sharif became prime minister, the facilities from his side were only for Punjab and not even once did he think ofotherprovinces.Perhaps he is once more seeking a chance to occupy the big seat and seems optimistic about the future.
