TAXILA: The National Highways and Motorway Police on Tuesday arrested seven cart vendors for obstructing traffic fiow on G.T. Road near Hassanabdal bus stand.

Sector in-charge Beat-3 of National Highways and Motorway Police DSP Hamid Ali Bangash told newsmen that these cart vendors were obstructing flow of traffic on G.T. Road near Hassanabdal city limits and causing traffic jam.

He said they had turned a deaf ear to several warnings and directives leaving the police with no option but to take legal action against them.

Later, the arrested cart venders were handed over to Hassanabdal Police for legal action.
