Three killed over buffalo dispute

FAISALABAD: Three members of a family were gunned down and another injured on Friday over a buffalo dispute in Chak 429-GB in the jurisdiction of Tandlianwala City police.

Rab Nawaz, with Mumtaz, Sarfraz and Nasir Abbas, was going to a local jury (panchayat) to settle a buffalo dispute with Zeb Khalid. However, their rivals attacked them in Chak 429-GB. Rub Nawaz and Mumtaz breathed their last instantly, while two others were shifted to the THQ Hospital, Tandlianwala, where Sarfraz also died. Nasir was shifted to the Allied hospital.

Police registered a murder case against Zeb, Ghulam Rasool, Haider, Mohammad Husain, Khalid and an unidentified person.
