FAISALABAD: A woman axed to death her husband and injured her mother-in-law and sisterin-law over a domestic dispute in Khanuana on Thursday.

Mariam Bibi gave sleeping pills to her husband Rafiq, 40, mother-in-law Amna Bibi, 80, and sisterin-law Fauzia Bibi. She axed Rafiq to death andattacked her mother-in-law and sister-in-law with the same weapon, injuring them seriously. The injured were shifted to a hospital in a critical condition.

Police said the suspect was still at large but no case was instituted against her till the filing of this report.

Rescue 1122 which shifted the injured to the hospital said the suspect had taken this step because of a domestic dispute.
