MIRPURKHAS: Pakistan Peoples Party`s member of the provincial assembly Jameel Ahmed Khan Bhurgari was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard in Mohammad Hashim Bhurgari village near Kot Ghulam Muhammad on Monday.

He was 63 and has left a widow, a son and two daughters to mourn his death.

Family sources said that Bhurgari had been sufferingfrom cancer for quite some time and die d early in the morning at his house in Karachi just a few hours before he was scheduled to fly to the United States for further treatment.

Thousands of people including PPP senator Hari Ram Kishori Lal, MPAs Syed Ali Mardan Shah, Mir Haji Hayat Talpur, MNA Kamal Khan Chang, Mirpurkhas deputy commissioner, police officials, doctors, lawyers, landlords, PPP workers and office-bearers attended the late MPA`s namazi-janaza.
