BADIN: Two siblings died and a third one was saved by doctors after they reportedly consumed `poisonous milk` late on Sunday night.

Mohammed Hanif Nohri, a resident of Onro village near Chachhro town of Tharparkar, took his three children, Razia, 8, Basheeran, 3, and 18-month old Mohammed Ali, apparently in a precarious condition to hospital and told doctors that they fell unconscious all of a sudden. He said the common thing they had consumed a little before was milk.

After examining the children, the doctors declared Basheeran and Mohammed Ali dead on arrival and provided emergency treatment to save the life of Razia.

The doctors found that the children had taken some poisonous substance, and apprehended that a lizard or some other poisonous creature might have fallen into the milk to contaminate it before the children consumed it.
