Recently, I had a real feel of these words when I went to a mobile company`s outlet for the biometric verification of my identity.

It has been made mandatory by the government of Pakistan in the wake of security concerns.

It so happened that I failed to pass the test as both my thumb impressions have faded to the extent that the biometric machine could not match my impressions with the record in Nadra despite countless rigorous attempts.

It seems Providence knows that older people have played theirroles,and their exit does not require the rigmarole of identification.
