QUETTA: A judicial magistrate (JM) on Thursday extended the physical remand of Nawabzada Gazain Marri in the Kohlu Levies` custody for another five days in a bomb blast case when a Levies station was targeted in 2004.

Levies personnel produced Mr Marri in the coud of JM Muhammad Hanif amid tight security. Heavy contingents of police, Levies and Frontier Corps forces were deployed in and around the coun premises. Unconcerned people were not allowed to enter the district couns.

Prosecutor of the Levies Force filed an application in the coun of the judicial magistrate seeking another five days remand of the suspect as the security force needed more interrogation in the 2004 bomb blast case.-Staff Correspondent
