T HE Federal Public Service Commission does not issue transcripts to candidates of general recruitment tests. The non-issuance of transcripts raises questions about transparency of affairs at the commission.
The FPSC is an august body, and its transparency mechanism is undoubtedly much better than that of any other service commission in the country. However, by keeping such information confidential, it is encouraging students to raise questions about its performance.
The FPSC should devise a mechanism whereby test takers are told their marks.
