TRANSPORT has always been a major problem for the citizens of Karachi. Most of them rely on the unreliable, poorly maintained and outdated public transport such as rickety buses. Daily we find a large number of people waiting at stops for the bus.
In morning rush hours, you`ll never find a bus with room even for standing while getting a seat is a dream never come true.
People cling to doors and travel on roofs of buses. Every third person is a student.
The only solution is an early completion of the on-going mass transit project.
