A FEW months back about 37 people were killed as a consequence of drinking tampered alcohol in Tando Muhammad Khan.
The SSP of Tando Muhammad Khan was suspended. The new SSP raided the city and arrested a large number of criminals involved in drug trafficking. Immediately all kinds of drugs were banned temporarily.
Now liquor and several varieties of drugs are easily available in the city.
On Christmas eve, at least 45 people were killed in Toba Tek Singh as a result of drinking adultrated alcohol. However, no official was arrested.
The authorities concerned need to seriously look into the problem.
