HYDERABAD, Oct 6: The newly-elected president of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) has demanded of the government to rebuild infrastructure of the Site area.
Infrastructure of three talukas of the city was badly damaged by the rains while inefficiency of the administration had converted the whole city into a dumping ground, he said.
The HCCI President, Mr Goharullah said this during the annual general meeting onThursday.
It may be noted here that a general body meeting scheduled on September 29 was adjourned to October 6, because of the lack of quorum.
He asked the business community to jointly work for the welfare of trade and industry.
People are demanding antimosquito spray and better sanitation and infrastructure because of dengue fever scare, he said and reminded the government of its responsibility to protect life and property of citizens.
Haji Mohammad Yaqoob said that the business community was paying the taxes but its problems remained where these were.
