KARACHI: The Majlis Wah d at-i-Muslimeen (MWM) will organise Istehkam-i-Pakistan Conference at Nishtar Park on May 21, announced MWM chief Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafferi at a press conference on Monday.

`Policies in Pakistan should be made in [its j institutions, not on personal whim.

`Today, Pakistan is in political turmoil which is the direct result of dictator Zia`s nursery of politicians.

These rulers are the spiritual sons of Zia, hence extending his Afghan policy by allowing Raheel Sharif to head a sectarian military alliance,` said the MWM chief who was accompanied by other party leaders at the press conference.

He added that the former army chief`s joining the alliance was detrimental to the country`s peace and harmony as it would result in strengthening `Takfiri terrorists` The rulers had always been pro-Takfiri, which was why `they never implemented National Action Plan. Instead victims of terrorism are being further victimised`, he said.

He said the MWM was against injustice and would never keep quiet in the face of `illegal` and `immoral` acts of the government.

`We also condemn lynching of Mashal Khan in Mardan University and Afghanistan`s attack on Chaman villages.

`We will raise our voice with our full strength and for this we are organising Istehkam-i-Pakistan Conference,` added the MWM chief.
