BAHAWALPUR: The Cantonment police arrested on Monday Muhammad Ibrahim for allegedly attacking a TV channel journalist.

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar had taken notice of the incident and called for a report from Regional Police Of ficer Muhammad Faisal Rana.

On the orders of District Police Officer Dr Muhammad Iqbal, the police registered a case against the alleged attacker.

DOCTORS: PunjabHealth Secretary Saqib Zafar has issued orders that cardiac consultants Dr Belal Ahsan and Dr Muhammad Shafiq, and an eye specialist Tariq Arian of the Bahawal Victoria Hospital will perform duties in Dera Ghazi Khan teaching hospital for three days in a week.

He issued orders during his visit to Dera Ghazi Khan and Taunsa Sharif on Sunday.

Local health department officials confirmed thatthreelocalspecialists would be going for three days a week to Dera Ghazi Khan for the examination of patients there.
