KARACHI: The Sindh government on Monday promoted 94 police inspectors on vacant posts of deputy superintendent of police.

The decision was made in a meeting of the home department promotion committee, which was presided over by Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Mumtaz Ali Shah. Other members included Inspector General of Police Shahid Nadeem Baloch, Additional Secretary Services and Additional Secretary Law Enforcement.

A spokesman of the Sindh police said that the decision was made at the meeting in home department. A notification in this regard was also issued following the meeting, he added.—PPI
