LARKANA: Naudero police was still clueless about the accused, who on Tuesday threw his wife in Dadu Canal and left her to drown.

Divers fished out the body of five-month pregnant woman Saira Bano,18, from the canal on Wednesday when it was spotted floating near Pir Jan Muhammed. Ali Bakhsh Detho, the aged father of the deceased, identifiedher.

The body was shifted to hospital in Naudero where Medico Legal Officer Dr Naila Bhutto performed an autopsy. There were no signs of torture on the body, she said, but confirmed that Saira was five-month pregnant.

Police were searching for Shafgat Detho (the killer) and picked up Mohamme d Detho, his father, and Sikandar Detho for providing him a motorbike.

A FIR was registered at the Naudero police station on the complaint of Ali Bakhsh Detho against Shafgat Detho and Muhammed Detho.
