PAKISTAN`s series levelling victory at the Oval on Independence Day was a treat for the nation. The team showed commendable performance after two back-to-back defeats at Old Trafford and Edgbaston.
The inclusion of young players like Sohail Khan and Sami Aslam and the coming back into form of Younis Khan proved good for the team. It is hoped that the one-day team will repeat the performance.
Pakistan has a tough challenge ahead as the team has to play a test series against Australia in Australia followed by a series with New Zealand. The players have to be in good form. The weak areas of the team must be worked on.
