ARTICLE 6 defines treason as an act of holding the constitution in abeyance. The punishment laid down for this act is death or life imprisonment.
Now the person charged with the crime of treason, retired general Pervez Musharaf, has been allowed to leave the country. But the same court does not want Ayyan Ali to leave the country.
This leaves one wondering how a person who suspended the constitution can be allowed to leave the country but the money laundering case is considered unforgivable.
