NAROWAL: A Lahore-based woman visiting a shrine here was allegedly gang-raped on Sunday.

A resident of vegetable market in Shadbagh, Lahore was visiting a shrine in Dhabliwala village in the vicinity of Narowal. She claimed that she felt dehydrated due to the weather and went to drink water at an outhouse. The owner of the outhouse along with three accomplices got hold of her, took her to a room and raped her. She added that when she raised a hue and cry the suspects fled from the scene.

Narowal Saddar police station registered a case on the application of the woman against the outhouse owner and his three unidentified accomplices. However, the culprits were yet to be arrested. Correspondent
