Three die in road accidents

TOBA TEK SINGH: Three persons died in separate road accidents in the district on Sunday.
In the first incident, a man and his minor son died in a road accident in Kamalia.
Police said Muhammad Shahbaz, 35, of Chak 34-EB, Arifwala was going back to his home from Kamalia after seeing his relatives on his motorcycle along with his sixyear-old son Ahmad Ali.
When they reached near river Ravi bridge on the KamaliaChichawatni road, their motorcyclewas hit by a truck. Both of them were seriously injured and they died on way to hospital.
In the other accident, a teacher of the Government Elementary School, Awami Basti, was killed on road.
Mian Ibrar Hussain was on his way from Chak 323-JB Trandi on his motorcycle to his home in Mustafaabad Colony. When he was on Toba-Gojra Road, a truck coming from opposite direction hit his bike.
As a result, he was seriously injured.
He was rushed to the district headquarters hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
KIDNAPPING: Police continuedon fifth consecutive day the search operation in different localities of Pirmahal to trace the two kidnapped minor children of a jeweller family of Pirmahal.
The two cousins, Aroosha, 4, and Hanan, 3, had gone missing from Makkah Block locality on Wednesday evening when they were playing outside their house.
The police have so far interrogated 70 suspected persons in the case after taking them custody but to avail.
Most of the people who were interrogated belonged to gypsy and beggar families living in huts outside the city.
