LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif presided over a meeting which reviewed preliminary proposals for the disaster insurance scheme to compensate losses due to natural calamities, especially floods.

Addressing the meeting, the chief minister directed the cabinet committee to review proposals and submit compre hensive recommendations.

The PDMA DG gave the meeting a briefing on the proposed scheme, says a handout.
