Entries for entrepreneurs competition invited

LAHORE: PlanX, a project of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), has invited entries from the enrolled students of bachelor programme from recognised universities for `Entrepreneurs Organisation Global Competition` (EOGS) under the partnership with the Lahore chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organisation and the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSE A) Pakistan.

This local competition is a primer for the GSEA finals being held in Frankfurt, Germany, in April 2017, says a handout.

Top six finalists at the last year`s GSEA Global finals are not eligible to participate this year, however for fresh entries the applicants need to be the owner/ founder of a company that has been operating for a minimum of six months.

In addition, to be consid-ered eligible, they need to have raised at least $500 in revenues. Each company can be represented by only one owner/co-founder per competition. The deadline to submit applications is Dec 15, 2016. Online applications can be sent at: http://gsea.

The EO is a global network of influential business owners and has chapters all over the world. The GSEA is a renowned competition held all over the world and targets students who own and operate a business while they are attending a university or college.

At the Global Finals, students compete for a prize package of $20,000 and a total value of over $40,000, which includes a travel/lodging expense paid trip to compete in GSEA Finals in Frankfurt, Germany. The second winner will receive $10,000 and third place will receive $5,000.
