Allotment of forest land

2015-06-26
AN application was forwarded to the Sindh Government in 2001 for allocation of 35,521 acres of forest land in Shikarpur district by the Pakistan Army. The chief minister of Sindh recently announced that 9,000 acres of forest land would be allotted to the families of martyrs and they would be its only beneficiaries.

Keeping in view the current tension between the military and the PPP-led Sindh government, and considering theapplication after 14 years, I am not sure whether the forestland should be saved for benefiting Sindh or whether it should be handed over to martyrs?
