Labourer`s killing Case against two cops, victim`s wife

JHANG: The Saddar police have registered a case against two policemen and a woman whom they helped kill her husband.

According to the FIR No 452/17, Taj Muhammad, a resident of Malhuana Morr, complained that his brotherin-law Allah Ditta, who was a labourer, and his wife Razia Bibi would often quarrel over various issues.

Last week, he alleged, Allah Ditta beat his wife who then contacted two policemen head constable Muzaffar and constable Latif for help.

The two policemen from Malhuana Morr police post came to their house and started torturing Allah Ditta, said the complainant who added that some neighboursresponded to the man`s call for help and took him to the District Headquarters (DHQ) hospital.

He was later shifted to Faisalabad`s Allied Hospital where he succumbed to injuries two days later.

The Jhang Saddar police registered a case FIR 452/17 under sections 320 and 34 of PPC against Razia Bibi, Muzaffar and Latif who fled after the assault.

Inspector Habibullah, a spokesman for the Jhang police, said a case had been registered against the labourer`s wife and the two policemen.

He said another FIR had already been lodged against the policemen under section 155-C of PPC on the charges of professional negligence in the matter and both were sent to lockup.
