LAHORE: The Punjab Assembly`s Public Accounts Committee-I on Thursday expressed its concern over unbridled cutting of trees and everincreasing incidents of timber thef t in the province.

The PAC-I meeting chaired by oppositionleader Mahmoodur Rasheed directed the forest department to submit a report about cutting of trees for development projects, wood flowed away in flood as well as pending cases of timber theft and recovery worth millions of rupees. Staff Reporter
