Thousands of people have been killed in terrorist attacks. Now people panic owing to terror hoaxes. The recent incident at Vigarunnisa College, Rawalpindi, created chaos among students. After hearing the news of a possible terror attack, students panicked and started scaling college walls.
Some of them received minor injuries owing to the stampede. Some also fainted.
Traffic was blocked and a mess created at the college. Although police arrived on time and cleared the mess, the fake terror news spread panic in the city.
We are already facing terrorism. Suchcruel jokes are adding to our misery. The government should ensure miscreants involved in terror hoaxes are caught and punished.
