THE T20 World Cup is to be held in India next month and it is my understanding that the PCB has approached the government to grant permission to the team to travel to India for the event. But why should we go? The Indians have constantly refused to play against our team. They have refused to honour the ICC-organised cricl The chairman of the PCB took numerous trips to convince them to play against us and that too on neutral grounds. But the Indiansjustlaughed atus.This refusalhas meant huge financial losses to the PCB.
It is my earnest desire that we should not go to India but we should put more ef forts in holding our own tournaments.
