SOME people are using their residential premises as godowns/warehouses in the residential areas of Delhi Mercantile Housing Society, opposite to Alamgir Masjid, and Hyder Ali Road, Bahadurabad, Karachi which creates difficulties for their residents, especially women, who are harassed by workers of these godowns/ warehouses. Besides, flammable goods are kept in these places which is against the law.
Flammable goods can catch fire at any time and pose a big threat to the lives of citizens.
The authorities concerned should take immediate action and close all such godowns/warehouses which are located in residential areas.
