T HIS is regarding the opinion piece by Faisal Bari and Sahar Khan `No data on disability` (Oct 18).
In this regard I would like to inform the writers that the government of Sindh has an ef fective mechanism to address the issues of dif ferently-abled persons and their data record keeping.
The health department, social welfare department and Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Authority through its employment exchange across the province are actively engaged inmaintaining and collecting credible data so that the problems of dif ferently abled personscanbe addressed.
